Kerry, while pro-choice, would not do anything to make abortions more available (i.e. repeal the partial birth abortion legislation).
Bush, while pro-life, would probably not do much to make abortions less available. Why? Particularly because he has had four years to do just that (for two of these years, he's had majorities in both the House and Senate), yet the most he could was ban partial birth abortions, a rarely-used procedure whose banning will hardly make a dent in the total number of abortions per year. If he were serious about abortion, he'd have done something major while he could. He's said he knows it will be a close race this November, which means he acknowledges he might not win and might not have a chance to pass to take further pro-life action. Even if he is elected, there's no guarantee he'll his Congress will ever be as receptive as they are now.
In summary, Bush has kept the issue on the back burner, and I doubt he'll ever bring it up to the front. Kerry won't do anything to change the status quo. Regardless of who's elected, little will be done about abortion in the next four years, so using abortion as one's primary argument to support one candidate over another is a poor strategy.

I like to steer my campaign more toward domestic issues, because they affect the people more so than anything else. If elected I would do something about abortion, I will promise you that

approve them.
Also, we could extend secrecy to teens, allowing them to hide their condition from everyone, even their parents. This would encourage still more abortions, would it not?
